2010 Diwali Festival of Lights 23 - 24 October

The ninth Indian Diwali Festival of Lights celebrates all the exciting colours, sounds and spicy aromas of India.

The full programme of events culminates in the Diwali Festival Mela at the TSB Bank Arena on Sunday 24 October from 1pm - 10:30pm.

From 1pm until well into the evening, the free Diwali Festival Mela will bring delicious food, crafts and non-stop entertainment for the whole family. Make sure you stay for the spectacular fireworks display that closes the Festival at 10pm.

Highlights of the Diwali Festival of Lights in Wellington are the Diwali Bollywood Dance Competition that takes place on Saturday 23 October, and the disco style Diwali Garba On Diwali Day that night from 8pm til midnight.
